IHW is a no cost, nonprofit medical clinic serving the people of metro Columbia. Our mission is to provide free healthcare, education, and support to those who are uninsured in the metro Columbia region.

 

Adequate healthcare options and resources, especially within the realm of behavioral health services are limited. IHW aim to reduce the barriers that prevent access to quality healthcare by providing primary medical and behavioral health services to uninsured patients, ages 18 and up.

 

Our vision and hope are that the most under-served adults in our metro Columbia region have improved whole health and wellness and are treated with dignity and respect as we seek to be examples of kindness, love, light, and community for our patients.

Starting on September 1, IHW will commence general medical evaluations along with no cost diagnostic health testing, education, and case management if applicable. Patients will be able to have the following tests completed at no cost:

• HbA1C

• Cholesterol Lipid Panels

• Gonorrhea/Chlamydia

• Herpes Simplex II

• HIV

• Pregnancy Testing

 

Starting May 2023 IHW will provide routine primary care, assist with chronic illness/and or disease management, assist with obtaining certain prescription medications, in addition to offering behavioral health services to uninsured and underinsured patients.
